Marcy Chapman | Massage Therapy
Marcy graduated with honors in 2001 from ICT Kikkawa College in Toronto, Ontario. She started her practice in Ontario before moving to Calgary in 2008 with her 2 children. She is registered with the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA) and joined the team at Miceli Family Chiropractic in October 2008.
Marcy offers a variety of treatments from therapeutic deep tissue, prenatal, relaxation, Hot Stone Massage Therapy and Dynamic Cupping. She also completed certification in Body Talk Therapy in 2014 and became a Body Talk practitioner. Her goal is to provide safe, effective, quality care with each treatment, to ensure that the needs of her clients are her priority.
When not at the clinic, Marcy spends the majority of her time with her two busy children. She also enjoys golfing, camping, reading a good book, and having a glass of wine with good friends.
Marcella Retzlaff | Massage Therapy
With over 12 years of experience as an RMT and a Mount Royal University graduate she is passionate about helping people feel their best through personalized, therapeutic care.
She is specialized in TMJ therapy, pre- and post-natal massage, and dynamic cupping, with a focus on understanding each client’s unique needs and creating treatments that leave you feeling relaxed, supported, and renewed. She loves helping clients find relief from tension and discomfort while making their time on the table something they can truly look forward to.
Outside of the clinic, she is a wife and mom to two beautiful daughters. Her family is rounded out by her dog and cat, so life is always busy, usually a little chaotic, and full of love! When not working, you’ll most likely find her spending time with family, travelling, or enjoying a sunny day at the lake.
She feels incredibly fortunate to have built a career doing something she genuinely loves and is looking forward to re-joining the Miceli team and welcoming you into her practice.
Takashi Kobayashi | Massage Therapy
Takashi Kobayashi was born and raised in Okayama, Japan. When his wife wanted to return to Canada in 1998, they moved to Calgary. Takashi graduated from the Calgary College of Holistic Health and became a RMT in 2011. Takashi’s holistic training began with an apprenticeship in 2004 under Yas Inaba RAc. He became a Shiatsu Practitioner in 2005.
In 2010, he completed the Acupressure Therapy Certificate Program at Mount Royal University. Takashi’s main focus is to reduce muscle pain as well as loosen tension and promote the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Takashi offers Full body Relaxation or Therapeutic Massage, Full body Shiatsu(Acupressure), Cupping Treatments, European Seated Skull, Neck & Back Massage, Seated Skull, Neck & Back Shiatsu Treatment, any localized or specific problem Massage & Shiatsu (Acupressure) Treatment and Lymphatic Drainage Treatment. Takashi is a 3rd degree Black belt in the Martial Art of Aikido. He enjoys cooking, traveling and watching baseball.
