Dr. Jamie Miceli is a registered doctor of Chiropractic.

“As basketball and University came to an end, I travelled to Europe for 2 years and met a lot of interesting people. In particular, one whose father was a Gonstead chiropractor in Sweden. This experience opened my eyes to the possibility of myself becoming a chiropractor. Within months I was on my way to Davenport Iowa to start my education.”

Dr. Jamie fondly remembers his chiropractor’s dedication to his patients. “An important (expensive) basketball camp was approaching and I foolishly injured my shoulder in a friendly game of soccer.

My chiropractor came in on his off time to adjust me and get me ready for the camp. It saved me from the wrath of my father and my basketball coach!” laughs Dr. Jamie. Chiropractic was an integral part of his basketball career and kept him healthy and relatively injury-free throughout the season.

As early as possible, Dr. Jamie began attending Gonstead Seminars where he perfected his chiropractic technique under the watchful eye of some of the greats in the profession.

He spent countless hours learning and then transferring that knowledge on to the first-year students in Gonstead Club. His passion for what he does is evident by the sparkle in his eye when you ask him what he does for a living.

Dr. Jamie is an avid mountain biker and has raced all over North America. His biggest accomplishment was winning the solo 24 Hours of Adrenaline Mountain Bike in Canmore 2017. He has competed in numerous events over the years from stage races like BC Bike Race and Single Track 6 to other 24 hour events like Golden 24 and Rocky Mountain 24 Team event. If you ride, be sure and let Dr. Jamie know or give him a follow on STRAVA!
