Your First Visit to Our Calgary Practice

Health History

The first visit is an information exchange session between you and the doctor. Expect to spend between 45 minutes to 1 hour with Dr. Miceli. First your health history is reviewed which gives a chance for more details and or clarification. This gives the doctor a better understanding of where your health stands.

Diagnostic Procedures

Next, an explanation of what chiropractic is and how it can help is given followed by some simple, non-invasive diagnostic procedures. To begin, a Thermography scan is taken followed by and surface Electromyography scan. Both the exam findings are explained in detail following the diagnosis.

X-Rays

Then, Full Spine Chiropractic Digital X-Rays are taken at PUREFORM DIAGNOSTIC clinic at 130th Avenue. Once your X-Rays have been taken, we receive them on a server here in the office. No need to bring back a CD. Our staff will phone you once we have received your x-rays to set up your report of findings. X-rays are extremely valuable as they are your instruction manual or blue prints. They are invaluable when it comes to explaining to the patient why they are feeling like they are as most of us are visual learners! X -rays conclude the first visit. There is no adjustment on the first visit as we need time to develop and analyze the x rays and put together our report of findings.
